The theory test for car drivers has 2 parts which are the multiple choice questions and hazard perception test. To pass you will need to be successful in both sections.
Multiple Choice Questions
This part contains 50 questions which need to answered in 57 minutes. Various driving related questions will be displayed on a computer screen. The pass mark is 43 out of 50.
Hazard Perception
You will watch 14 short video clips and must respond quickly and accordingly using a computer mouse. The earlier you respond to any developing hazards seen, the more points you will score. The pass mark is 43 out of 75 points.

Before you can apply to take the practical test you will need to pass the theory test. After passing the theory you will have 2 years to pass the practical , or you will need to re-take the theory test.
